WUF Computing offers expert help with your computer training needs, with computer and software installation or just overcoming some problem with your system. Help is available for the absolute beginner and for the more knowledgeable user
Low cost individual training
You can receive personalized on-site computer training using your own equipment and programs in your home, office or shop for a very low $45.00 per hour. Maximum effectiveness is achieved by training, which is essentially one-on-one, or with a very small group. Training is flexible, tailored to suit individual needs and held at a time to suit you.
Training is conducted in the Rocky Mount/Wilson and surrounding areas with no travel fees. A travel charge will usually apply outside that area.
Personal Computer
Basic training for the complete beginner includes:
- Introduction to computer components
- Using the keyboard and mouse
- Introduction to Windows operating systems
More advanced training can include:
- Using many of the features of Windows (any version)
- Microsoft Office
- Word processing
- Spread sheeting
- Desktop publishing
- Databases
- Scanning and image manipulation
- Music applications and CD burning
- Installing and using new programs
Internet
Internet training covers, among other things:
- Introduction to the Internet
- Getting connected
- Web browser
- Using search engines and directories to find information
- Downloading files
- Internet security
- Sending and receiving email
- Building your own web site
Computer and Program Installation
WUF Computing undertakes the installation of new computers or new software with instruction in its use to individuals and to office and shop staff.
Costs
All training and hardware and software installation costs $45.00 per hour
in the Rocky Mount/Wilson area. A travel charge will usually apply outside
that
area.
